Sock Group - ATTENTION ALL SOCKAHOLICS !!!   

If you enjoy knitting socks then this fun new group is for you. Each month we’ll offer tips, ideas, or free patterns in a casual, inspiring atmosphere.  The $2.00 dues entitles you to a 10% discount in the yarn room for the month.  Join us on the fourth Tuesday of each month from 6:30-8:00.  COME AND JOIN THE FUN!!      September 28, October 26, November 23, December 28

Yarn Group – New knitters or old timers, all are welcome!

The group meets here at the store the third Tuesday of each month from 6:30 p.m.  – 8:30 p.m.  The $2.00 dues entitle you to a 10%* discount on your yarn purchases for the month.  New knitters or old timers, all are welcome!
Sept.  21  -   To get us thinking about Christmas gift ideas, everyone bring in a favorite “free” pattern to share and we’ll copy for anyone interested.  Patterns might include scarves, socks, hats, etc.   Pattern must be “free to copy”.      
Oct. 19  - Bring in a picture of yourself as a baby or toddler (make sure your name is on the back, and put in a folder or envelope so no one can see you turning it in at front desk when you arrive).   We’ll have fun guessing who all those little future knitters are.  There’ll be a prize for whoever is able to properly identify the most little ones!    Also, in honor of breast cancer awareness month, we’re collecting knitted or crocheted chemo caps to be donated to Stewarts Caring Place.  Free patterns available in the shop/ online – participation is optional. 
Nov. 16 -  We’ll be collecting hats, scarves or mittens to donate to Good Neighbors.  They can be handmade, purchased, brand new or gently worn – either way they are greatly appreciated.  Participation is optional.
Dec. 21  - It’s time for our annual Christmas party.  Bring in a $10.00 wrapped item pertaining to knitting or crocheting for our annual
gift exchange - participation is optional. Also, everyone is asked to bring an appetizer or dessert for all to enjoy.  It’s always FUN!

The “X” Rated Stitchers  – Old or new cross stitchers alike – all are welcome and encouraged to come join the fun!

This fun cross stitching group meets here at the store the second Wednesday of each month from 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.  The $2.00 dues entitle you to a 10%* discount on all cross stitch supplies for the month.  Bring whatever project you happen to be working on.  Old or new cross stitchers alike – all are welcome and encouraged to come join the fun!
Sept. 8  -  Come and enjoy a relaxing evening stitching with friends. 
Oct. 13 –  Join us as we enjoy the fall season with cider and donuts.     
Nov. 10 -  Just another fun time stitching with friends – think about bringing a new friend too.

Portable Quilt Group  –

Come and join the fun on the second Tuesday of each month from 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.  Bring your hand work and spend two hours of uninterrupted peace from kids and phones.  We always have great “specials” for the evening.   The $2.00 dues entitle you to a 10%* discount in quilt room purchases for the month.
Sept. 14 – School is in session and it’s National Sewing Month.  Learn how to use the new “House” Ruler by Creative Grids.      
Oct. 12 –  Fall is in the air.  Bring in your favorite soup recipe to share.   
November 9 –  This is the time to be thankful for the friends we have who share our passions.  Bring a new friend to the group tonight!    
December 14 -  What are you making for Christmas gifts this year?  Bring your projects to finish and get a free pattern.   

“OPEN” Shop Stitching Times

Wind Down Wednesdays (W.D.W.) A.M.

Attention all needlecrafters (Quilters, Knitters, Crocheters, Cross Stitchers, Spinners) – Do you have a lot of UFO’s or new projects waiting to be worked on?  Come alone or bring a friend for our new open sit and sews called “Wind Down Wednesdays”.   Join in with others working on their own projects for a big block of uninterrupted time.  Sit and relax while stitching.  Grab a friend or come alone – help yourself to our comfortable seating in the shop, have a cup of coffee or tea, enjoy our music and conversation with other stitching friends. While these are not instructor led, our floor staff will be available if advice is needed.  Let’s get some crafting done –  come and stitch every Wed. from 10:30 am – 1:30 pm and  5:30 – 8:30 pm.  There’s no charge for these open shop sessions so join us!
